QClaw AI

One-Click OpenClaw Agent via WeChat & QQ

QClaw is Tencent's productized wrapper around the open-source OpenClaw AI agent framework. It lets anyone deploy a powerful local AI agent in one click — no technical setup required — and control their computer through natural language commands sent directly inside WeChat or QQ.

What Is QClaw?

QClaw (also written as Qclaw) is an AI agent product developed internally at Tencent, first reported in internal testing on March 9, 2026. Rather than building a new agent framework from scratch, QClaw packages the popular open-source OpenClaw agent into a streamlined desktop application — making advanced AI automation accessible to non-technical users.

🚀

One-Click Deployment

Download QClaw and deploy OpenClaw on your local machine instantly. No command line, no API keys to configure manually — just install and go.

💬

WeChat & QQ Integration

QClaw bridges OpenClaw with both WeChat and QQ. Send natural language commands from your phone and watch your PC execute them in real time.

🤖

Multi-Model Support

QClaw AI supports domestic models including Kimi (Moonshot AI) and MiniMax, as well as custom model configurations for enterprise use.

🔒

Local & Private

QClaw runs entirely on your own computer. Your files, commands, and data stay on your machine — not on a remote server.

How QClaw AI Works

1

Download & Install QClaw

Get the QClaw one-click startup package. If OpenClaw is already installed on your machine, QClaw can link to it automatically with a single click.

2

Connect WeChat or QQ

Scan a QR code inside QClaw to link your WeChat or QQ account. Both platforms are supported simultaneously — dual-end access out of the box.

3

Choose Your AI Model

Select from supported models like Kimi or MiniMax, or configure a custom model endpoint. QClaw AI adapts to your preferred LLM backend.

4

Control Your PC via Chat

Send natural language messages from WeChat or QQ. QClaw AI relays them to OpenClaw, which executes tasks: organizing files, filling forms, browsing the web, running commands, and more.

QClaw vs OpenClaw

QClaw is not a replacement for OpenClaw — it's a productized layer on top of it. Here's how they relate:

QClaw FAQ

Is QClaw available to download now?

As of March 2026, QClaw is in internal testing at Tencent and not yet publicly available. For a fully available alternative, OpenClaw (ClawdBot) is free and open-source.

What is the difference between QClaw and OpenClaw?

OpenClaw is the open-source AI agent framework. QClaw is Tencent's productized packaging of OpenClaw, adding a GUI, one-click setup, and native WeChat/QQ integration.

What AI models does QClaw support?

QClaw AI supports Kimi (Moonshot AI), MiniMax, and custom model configurations. It is designed to work with Chinese domestic LLMs as well as international models.

Is QClaw safe to use?

QClaw runs locally on your machine, which means your data stays on your device. However, as with any agent that can execute shell commands, users should review what permissions they grant. Note that OpenClaw CVE-2026-25253 drew scrutiny around QClaw's security posture during testing.

Can I use QClaw without WeChat or QQ?

QClaw's primary interface is WeChat and QQ. For a platform-agnostic experience supporting WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, and 12+ more, use OpenClaw (ClawdBot) directly.
